The short version

Your projects, tasks and comments live in a Google Sheet that you own. Lanez’s servers don’t keep them. We store only what we need to run your account: who you are, your workspaces and their members, your plan, and the link to your sheet.

What we store

What we don’t store

Project names, descriptions, tasks, comments and every other field on your board. When you or a teammate work in Lanez, this data passes through our servers on its way to and from your sheet, and is not written to our database or our logs.

Your browser keeps a copy of the workspaces you open, so the board loads instantly and works offline. Signing out doesn’t erase it yet. Clear your browser’s site data for Lanez to remove it.

How we use Google data

Lanez asks for Google’s narrowest Drive permission (drive.file), which only lets it open files Lanez created. We use it to create your workspace’s spreadsheet and to read and write it when your team uses the board. We don’t use Google data for advertising, don’t sell it, and don’t let people read it, except when you ask us for support or the law requires it.

Lanez’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Removing your data

You can revoke Lanez’s access at any time in your Google Account under Security → Third-party connections. Your spreadsheet stays in your Drive. To delete your Lanez account and workspaces, contact us and we’ll remove them.

Service providers

Lanez runs on Supabase (database, sign-in and server functions) and Google APIs. When purchases open, a payment provider will process them; we’ll name it here.
